Ⅰ  課程性質(zhì)與課程目標

一、課程性質(zhì)和特點

“英語文化概論”課程是我省高等教育自學考試英語專業(yè)本科段的一門重要的專業(yè)必修課程。語言是文化的載體，文化是語言的基礎。英語語言學習和英國國家文化相互依存、密不可分。一個英語語言學習者，若不了解該語言背后所承載的民族文化，其交際能力也會受到限制。該課程能使學生了解和掌握英語國家政治、歷史、經(jīng)濟、法律、教育、媒體、宗教、社會、家庭等方面的文化背景知識，了解英語國家社會發(fā)展、現(xiàn)狀和影響英語國家社會發(fā)展的因素，拓展學生的知識面，培養(yǎng)學生文化意識，啟發(fā)學生了解西方社會，了解交際規(guī)則，增強學生的英語語言學習能力，為其它專業(yè)課程的學習打下一定的基礎，進而為培養(yǎng)高水平應用型復合人才打下基礎。

二、課程目標（評價目標）

“英語文化概論”課程設置的目標是使得考生能夠：

1．了解英語國家政治、歷史、經(jīng)濟、法律、教育、媒體、宗教、社會、家庭等方面的情況；

2. 了解主要英語國家的文化傳統(tǒng)，風俗習慣和社會生活的其他有關情況；

3．擴大知識面，有效彌補英語專業(yè)學生知識面窄的不足； 

4．了解英語國家文化與中國文化的差異，提高跨文化交際能力;

5. 提高英語閱讀的能力和語言應用能力。

三、與相關課程的聯(lián)系與區(qū)別

本課程的教學任務是使學生了解主要英語國家的歷史、社會、經(jīng)濟、教育等方面的情況及其文化傳統(tǒng)，提高學生對文化差異的敏感性、寬容性和處理文化差異的靈活性，培養(yǎng)學生跨文化交際能力。本課程為英語專業(yè)各階段各門課程提供一個大的社會文化背景，促進各門課程之間的互動和交融，從而加深學生對英語語言、文學及文化的理解和掌握。

四、課程的重點和難點

Ⅱ  考核目標

本大綱在考核目標中，按照識記、理解、應用三個層次規(guī)定其應達到的能力層次要求。三個能力層次是遞進關系，各能力層次的含義是：

1、 識記：能知道有關的名詞、概念、知識的含義，并能正確認識和表述，是低層次的要求。

2、 理解：在識記的基礎上，能全面把握基本概念、基本原理、基本方法，能掌握有關概念、原理、方法的區(qū)別與聯(lián)系，是較高層次的要求。

3、 應用：在理解的基礎上，能運用基本概念、基本原理、基本方法聯(lián)系學過的多個知識點分析和解決有關的理論問題和實際問題，是最高層次的要求。

Ⅳ  關于大綱的說明與考核實施要求

一、自學考試大綱的目的和作用（共性部分）

課程自學考試大綱是根據(jù)專業(yè)自學考試計劃的要求，結合自學考試的特點而確定。其目的是對個人自學、社會助學和課程考試命題進行指導和規(guī)定。

課程自學考試大綱明確了課程學習的內(nèi)容以及深廣度，規(guī)定了課程自學考試的范圍和標準。因此，它是編寫自學考試教材和輔導書的依據(jù)，是社會助學組織進行自學輔導的依據(jù)，是自學者學習教材、掌握課程內(nèi)容知識范圍和程度的依據(jù)，也是進行自學考試命題的依據(jù)。

二、課程自學考試大綱與教材的關系（共性部分）

課程自學考試大綱是進行學習和考核的依據(jù)，教材是學習掌握課程知識的基本內(nèi)容與范圍，教材的內(nèi)容是大綱所規(guī)定的課程知識和內(nèi)容的擴展與發(fā)揮。課程內(nèi)容在教材中可以體現(xiàn)一定的深度或難度，但在大綱中對考核的要求一定要適當。大綱與教材所體現(xiàn)的課程內(nèi)容基本一致；大綱里面的課程內(nèi)容和考核知識點，教材里一般也要有。反過來教材里有的內(nèi)容，大綱里就不一定體現(xiàn)。（注：如果教材是推薦選用的，其中有的內(nèi)容與大綱要求不一致的地方，應以大綱規(guī)定為準。）

四、關于自學要求和自學方法的指導

本大綱的課程基本要求是依據(jù)專業(yè)考試計劃和專業(yè)培養(yǎng)目標而確定的。課程基本要求還明確了課程的基本內(nèi)容，以及對基本內(nèi)容掌握的程度?；疽笾械闹R點構成了課程內(nèi)容的主體部分。因此，課程基本內(nèi)容掌握程度、課程考核知識點是高等教育自學考試考核的主要內(nèi)容。

為有效地指導個人自學和社會助學，本大綱已指明了課程的重點和難點，在章節(jié)的基本要求中一般也指明了章節(jié)內(nèi)容的重點和難點。

自學方法指導

 1、在開始閱讀指定教材某一單元之前，先翻閱大綱中有關這一單元的考核知識點及對知識點的能力層次要求和考核目標，以便在閱讀教材時做到心中有數(shù)，有的放矢。

2、閱讀教材時，要逐段細讀，逐句推敲，集中精力，吃透每一個知識點，對基本概念必須深刻理解，對基本理論必須徹底弄清，對基本方法必須牢固掌握。

3、在自學過程中，既要思考問題，也要做好閱讀筆記，把教材中的基本概念、原理、方法等加以整理，這可從中加深對問題的認知、理解和記憶，以利于突出重點，并涵蓋整個內(nèi)容，可以不斷提高自學能力。

 4、完成書后作業(yè)和適當?shù)妮o導練習是理解、消化和鞏固所學知識，培養(yǎng)分析問題、解決問題及提高能力的重要環(huán)節(jié)，在做練習之前，應認真閱讀教材，按考核目標所要求的不同層次，掌握教材內(nèi)容，在練習過程中對所學知識進行合理的回顧與發(fā)揮，注重理論聯(lián)系實際和具體問題具體分析，解題時應注意培養(yǎng)邏輯性，針對問題圍繞相關知識點進行層次（步驟）分明的論述或推導，明確各層次（步驟）間的邏輯關系。

五、應考指導

1. 如何學習

很好的計劃和組織是你學習成功的法寶。如果你正在接受培訓學習，一定要跟緊課程并完成作業(yè)。為了在考試中做出滿意的回答，你必須對所學課程內(nèi)容有很好的理解。使用“行動計劃表”來監(jiān)控你的學習進展。你閱讀課本時可以做讀書筆記。如有需要重點注意的內(nèi)容，可以用彩筆來標注。如：紅色代表重點；綠色代表需要深入研究的領域；黃色代表可以運用在工作之中?？梢栽诳瞻滋幱涗浵嚓P網(wǎng)站，文章。

2. 如何考試

卷面整潔非常重要。書寫工整，段落與間距合理，卷面賞心悅目有助于教師評分，教師只能為他能看懂的內(nèi)容打分?；卮鹚岢龅膯栴}。要回答所問的問題，而不是回答你自己樂意回答的問題！避免超過問題的范圍

3. 如何處理緊張情緒 

正確處理對失敗的懼怕，要正面思考。如果可能，請教已經(jīng)通過該科目考試的人，問他們一些問題。做深呼吸放松，這有助于使頭腦清醒，緩解緊張情緒?？荚嚽昂侠砩攀?，保持旺盛精力，保持冷靜。

4. 如何克服心理障礙

這是一個普遍問題！如果你在考試中出現(xiàn)這種情況，試試下列方法：使用“線索”紙條。進入考場之前，將記憶“線索”記在紙條上，但你不能將紙條帶進考場，因此當你閱讀考卷時，一旦有了思路就快速記下。按自己的步調(diào)進行答卷。為每個考題或部分分配合理時間，并按此時間安排進行。

六、對社會助學的要求

要針對重點章、次重點章和一般章節(jié)分別提出自學或助學的基本學時建議和要求（如在章節(jié)后面已有，這里也可不再闡述），在助學活動中應注意的問題。要強調(diào)注意正確引導、把握好助學方向，正確處理學習知識和提高能力的關系。

對社會助學的要求

1、 應熟知考試大綱對課程提出的總要求和各單元的知識點。 

2、應掌握各知識點要求達到的能力層次，并深刻理解對各知識點的考核目標。

3、 輔導時，應以考試大綱為依據(jù)，指定的教材為基礎，不要隨意增刪內(nèi)容，以免與大綱脫節(jié)。

4、 輔導時，應對學習方法進行指導，宜提倡“認真閱讀教材，刻苦鉆研教材，主動爭取幫助，依靠自己學通”的方法。 

5、 輔導時，要注意突出重點，對考生提出的問題，不要有問即答，要積極啟發(fā)引導。

6、 注意對應考者能力的培養(yǎng)，特別是自學能力的培養(yǎng)，要引導學生逐步學會獨立學習，在自學過程中善于提出問題，分析問題，作出判斷，解決問題。

7、 要使考生了解試題的難易與能力層次高低兩者不完全是一回事，在各個能力層次中會存在著不同難度的試題。

1. 本課程要求考生學習和掌握的知識點內(nèi)容都作為考核的內(nèi)容。課程中各章的內(nèi)容均由若干知識點組成，在自學考試中成為考核知識點。因此，課程自學考試大綱中所規(guī)定的考試內(nèi)容是以分解為考核知識點的方式給出的。由于各知識點在課程中的地位、作用以及知識自身的特點不同，自學考試將對各知識點分別按四個認知（或叫能力）層次確定其考核要求。

2. 在考試之日起6個月前，由全國人民代表大會和國務院頒布或修訂的法律、法規(guī)都將列入相應課程的考試范圍。凡大綱、教材內(nèi)容與現(xiàn)行法律、法規(guī)不符的，應以現(xiàn)行法律法規(guī)為準。命題時也會對我國經(jīng)濟建設和科技文化發(fā)展的重大方針政策的變化予以體現(xiàn)。（注：一般會涉及到公共政治課、公共管理類、經(jīng)濟管理類、法律等社會科學有關專業(yè)的相關課程，其內(nèi)容所占比例約為10%—15%。涉及這方面內(nèi)容的課程大綱，要在本大綱里提醒個人自學者、社會助學組織在學習過程中關注此事。）

3. 按照重要性程度不同，考核內(nèi)容分為重點內(nèi)容、次重點內(nèi)容、一般內(nèi)容，在本課程試卷中對不同考核內(nèi)容要求的分數(shù)比例大致為：重點內(nèi)容占60%，次重點內(nèi)容占30%，一般內(nèi)容占10%。

八、關于考試命題的若干規(guī)定

1、考試采用閉卷筆試，考試時間150分鐘，采用百分制評分，60分及格。

2、本大綱各章所規(guī)定的基本要求、知識點及知識點下的知識細目，都屬于考核的內(nèi)容?？荚嚸}既要覆蓋到章，又要避免面面俱到。要注意突出課程的重點、章節(jié)重點，加大重點內(nèi)容的覆蓋度。

3、命題不超出大綱中考核知識點范圍的題，考核目標不高于大綱中所規(guī)定的相應的最高能力層次要求。命題著重考核自學者對基本概念、基本知識是否了解或掌握。

4、本課程在試卷中對不同能力層次要求的分數(shù)比例大致為：識記占60%，理解占40%。

5、課程考試命題的主要題型一般有單項選擇題、多項選擇題、填空題、名詞解釋題、簡答題、翻譯題等題型。
